My wife and I had gone to southern FL for a week's vacation. The one thing I had on my mind was getting back out on the water and into some big fish. The captain and crew did their job and got me on a nice 42" Cuda. They asked me what I wanted to do with the fish and I said "throw it back." Then my wife jumped in on the conversation. She was backing the crew telling me I should get the fish mounted. I asked the captain what the rates were and they seemed very reasonable to me, so I went with it. After returning home I thought I might look into this "Gray Taxidermy" a little further. I found a lot of negative publicity online, and at this point began to worry a bit. However, I was quickly impressed. The turnaround on my order was less than one month. The fish looks great, and I have zero regrets. I think it is important to remember that when researching online you will most often find ten negatives to one positive, especially with regard to a business's service and quality. Too often the a great job is simply expected and never spoken of, where unsatisfied customers almost always want to cause a stink. This having been said, I am making plans to return to FL soon and when I get the next big'n I will request that Grey Taxidermy process my next trophy!
